• Qasim Basir is the writer and director of MOOZ-lum. The film, based upon aspects of Basir’s life, follows the life of a Muslim African-American boy growing up in post-9/11 America. MOOZ-lum highlights the challenges he faces balancing his strict Muslim upbringing with the newfound freedoms of college life.
• Dana Offenbach, is the the film’s producer, and is a partner in the newly- formed independent film production company CinemaStreet, LLC.
